My Crew

The Bullet Proof Scratch Hamsters are DJ's Eddie Def, Quest, Eddie K, and Cue. The crew started in 1992 in the San Francisco Bay Area. The first record released by them was "Hamster Breaks Volume 1". It was one of the first battle records to ever come out. Since then many have done the same by following the format of having scratch beats, scratching sounds, and beat juggling sequences. Anyways, the crew changed their name in 1995 to the "Space Travelers" to accommodate the second release "Hamster Breaks 3 1/2". The name change was at a time when other crews jumped on the band wagon starting to use funny names. You could see a trend starting and since it was no longer funny anymore, it was changed. Also new to the crew was DJ Marz. In the year 2000 now the name once again has been changed to the Bullet Proof Space Travelers.
